Levels of Difficulty
In this Kids4Truth Clubs Training Tutorial, Marrena Ralph (Kids4Truth Clubs Program Specialist) walks us through the levels of difficulty in our curriculum. Watch this tutorial as a stand alone tutorial to understand the curriculum, or watch it after attending one of our 3 hour training events to refresh what you learned.
Levels of Difficulty
We use levels instead of grades, which allows churches to decide what level works best for their church and children. We recommend the following as a general guide for determining the level:
- Level 1 – Discoverers – An adventurous treasure-hunting theme – 3 years to 2nd grade (most commonly used with 3 years – K5) = Non-Reader Edition
- Level 2 – Developers – A construction theme – building the foundation to grow upon – 1st – 4th grades (most commonly used with 1st – 2nd graders) = Beginner Reader/Comprehension Level
- Level 3 – Detectives – An adventurous clue-finding theme – learning to detect the truth – 3rd – 6th grades (most commonly used with 3rd – 4th graders) = Middle Elementary Reading/Comprehension Level
- Level 4 – Defenders – A medieval theme – learning to defend the faith – 5th – 8th grades (most commonly used with 5th – 6th graders) = Upper Elementary Reading/Comprehension Level
