    Halloween a family tradition

We do not celebrate halloween in our house.  We do use it as a ministry day through.  There is never a better time to give out the word of God.  How many days do you have, with so many people coming to your door. We make up bags of goodies (candy, toothbrushes and of course tracts, old children bible school activities, Christian coloring sheets whatever we have.)   These bags we make up ahead of time and give out to the children when they come to the home.  Don't forget to have extra tracts to give to the parents of the little ones.  This is a family tradition in our house, our kids look so forward to doing this, that they begin thinking about what kind of things to give away.  Once the bags are given then it is time to Pray for each and every bag given out.  That the one that recieves the bag will look at it and be open to God's leading.  We do not decorate the house with any halloween decorations.  We just let God use us to spread HIS WORD.

Wonderful idea, Debbie:-)  I am sure that children visiting your house have enjoyed their special bags of goodies.

A good addition would be a church brochure or flyer inviting them to your church (or simply put the church name/address on the back of the tract.)
