This points calculator will help to determine how many points are earned in each box each day.  You, as the director, should make sure that the points and winning days keep somewhat balanced between the teams.  You may need to adjust what happens each day to make this happen.  You want the “program night” or end of the final day to determine the winner – make sure the team that actually won the week wins on program night.  This keeps the competition exciting and the children excited to attend.

Points are added up for each box during the sermon time each day. The points are then multiplied by what happened to each box each day.  This document contains charts to help determine what happens to each box each day.  Keep the total of the points quiet until the end of the day.  We recommend that you use a PowerPoint presentation at the end of each day to announce the winner of each box and the winner of the day.  Make a big deal about the presentation of the points at the end of each day.  This is a good build up time for the next day’s events.
