As believers, we are called to be like God. God has saved us and is sanctifying us to reflect his perfect image and character. It behooves us greatly to know God more intimately so we can change to be more like him. So one very good question that can help us conform more to God's character is "How Generous Is God?" - John 3:16 — “For
God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
- Romans 8:32-33 — “He
who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he
not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
- 2 Corinthians 8:9 — “For
you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich,
yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty
might become rich.”
- Matthew 7:11 — “If
you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your
children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to
those who ask him!”
- 1 Timothy 6:17c — “... God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.”
As I read the above verses, I cannot help but think of the Christian hymn "O To Be Like Thee" and how appropriate it is as we consider God's generous character! May God grant us the grace to be generous like He is generous. O to Be Like Thee!

 A Challenge
Here is a great article by Pastor John Piper that has recently challenged me to think differently about how I will spend my forthcoming "economic stimulus package."
Piper says: For a moment, forget the political puzzle of getting money back when the country is nine trillion dollars in debt. The more immediate question is: How will you make much of Christ with your "economic stimulus payment"? The president says it will be in the mail in time for Cinco de Mayo.
Clue: Nobody in the world will see you spend your money on yourself and conclude that Christ is your treasure. They will assume you are just like them, no matter how loudly you thank God for this boon. That doesn't mean you shouldn't spend it on yourself (the way we do with most of what we earn). Not everything we do can look different from the world-eat, pay utilities, fill up the car, wear clothes (even thrift-store clothes). And yes, we hope (somehow) that spending on ourselves in some way contributes to our being more Christ-exalting people.
But do we really need this money? Very few do. We would have gotten on fine without it. If we didn't know it was coming, we wouldn't even be feeling the desires we are feeling right now.
May I encourage you to be radically creative and hedonistic. Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). And those crazy Macedonians in a "severe test of affliction" and in "extreme poverty" had an "abundance of joy" that overflowed in a "wealth of generosity." They even begged Paul "for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints" (2 Corinthians 8:2-4). They really believed what Jesus said. Really.
Before the check comes dream of some person or ministry which might make much of Christ because you treasured him above your next home project. The reason God created money and enabled us to earn it is so that we could show by the way we use it that money is not our treasure, Christ is. That's why the checks are coming. So we can make Christ look great. "Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you'" (Hebrews 13:5-6).

 Here at Kids 4 Truth, we have seen God work in some amazing ways through the prayers of His people. He has expanded the ministry exponentially, and He has continued to provide, protect, and guide us each step of the way. Think of this; God, who has all power, knowledge, sovereignty, and ability, has chosen to accomplish His perfect will through imperfect humans! Our dynamations have been viewed by millions. Every day, thousands of people from all over the world view one or more of our dynamations. We praise the Lord for this exciting platform to communicate truth.
Since the beginning of our ministry, we looked to dynamations as the eye-candy "hook" that would bring in visitors. They are, in a sense, our outreach program! We’ve received thousands of emails from viewers that have been touched in one way or another from viewing these productions. Christians have been edified. The lost have been challenged.
Every dynamation costs between $6,500-9,000 to produce. Our goal is to produce at least six dynamations a year. Here are a few of the dynamations that are on deck:
- One Man, One Woman, One GOD - a dynamation about the sanctity of marriage
- Contact! - a dynamation about the doctrine of special revelation
- God's Own Image - a dynamation that explores the truth about "early" man
- The Fall! - a dynamation that shows our spiritual bankruptcy and absolute need for God to redeem us.

 Dollar in December: The First-Ever Kids 4 Truth Online Fundraiser
Over the past few years God has blessed our efforts to help Christians teach boys and girls essential Bible truth. Hopefully we have been a blessing and a help to you. If so, you can be a huge help and encouragement to our ministry this Christmas season by simply giving one dollar.
Now, I understand that a dollar doesn't sound like much. In fact, I couldn’t even buy a half a gallon of gas with a dollar last week! But consider this: last month alone, the Kids 4 Truth website received over half a million visitors from all over the world. (that’s almost 20,000 people every day!)
If even a percentage of our web visitors gave one dollar, thousands of dollars would be raised for the cause of Christ! Your dollar will go to help release new dynamations, publish new materials, and create interactive learning tools—all of which will help believers pass on their Christian heritage to the next generation.
As our ministry has grown; so, too, have our financial needs. For example, it costs several hundred dollars every month simply to host the Kids 4 Truth website. This ministry is not an inexpensive endeavor, but it is well worth it.

 A good Gospel tract should contain biblical truth that is pride-smashing and God-exalting. A good Gospel tract should be simple yet complete. A good Gospel tract should be primarily about God in hopes that sinners will see their absolute need in light of God’s awesome holiness and beauty (see Isaiah 6).
This is Kids 4 Truth’s humble attempt at creating a good Gospel tract—the “Let’s Talk About God” children’s Gospel tract.
The tract contains 10 small panels, each one is about 4”x4”. When the tract is fully opened, it reveals a special “mini” poster. I am not releasing the poster for public viewing yet but I’ll describe it: inside is a timeline of Bible events (about 8”x20”) that give a bird’s eye view of redemptive history. The artwork is beautiful! (NOTE: If you’re prayerfully considering giving toward the completion of this project and you’d like to see the poster, please e-mail me and I’ll send you a PDF).
The idea of the poster is that children’s workers might use it in a counseling situation as a great “at-a-glance” teaching tool. Some tracts are designed to hand away. Some tracts are desgined to be counseling tools. This tract serves well in either capacity.
 The tract will be printed on gloss “text” paper. The shape of the tract is similar to the popular “Why?” tract we did a few years ago after the 9/11 attacks. Several million “Why?” tracts were passed out all over the world in several different languages. I pray that God will use this new tract in a similar fashion. Christians need good, doctrinally-solid, complete, God-centered Gospel tracts—especially for kids!

(One penny for Kids 4 Truth, that is.)

Last month alone Kids 4 Truth received about 600,000 visits and over 10 million hits. As our ministry has increased, so too have our financial needs.
