The Kids 4 Truth Team is pleased to offer online support on our websites. Online support is an unique feature that allows you to speak directly to a Kids 4 Truth operator using an online chat client much as one would use any of the popular instant messenger type service (g-talk, live messenger, yahoo, aol, etc.). While we have offered live chat for some time now, we have just changed to a new system which should allow us to offer more to those to whom we minister.
How Does It Work? The online support is very easy to use. Click on the help box and type in your email address and question. Please wait while our operator answers your question. This may take a few minutes as the operator clicks to accept your question. The operator will begin by introducing himself/herself. This gives you the name of the person you are speaking to. The operator will then answer your questions and stay with you until you are finished talking. If the operator feels you need to talk with someone else, he/she may transfer you to another operator.
How Can It Help Me?
Online support is often times more efficient than talking to a representative on the phone if you are looking for items or having issues navigating our websites. The live operator can either take you directly to or give you a link to the items you need. We recommend that you use the chat line whenever you cannot find resources, materials, or products on any of our sites. This saves you time and frustration by not having to write down and/or type in a long web address for the item.
What Hours Is It Available?
Chat lines are manned by staff, interns, and volunteers. We strive to have operators available from 9 AM to 3 PM central time and sometimes throughout the evenings or weekends. We will increase our support hours as more operators are added.
