| September 2009 Dear EquipU Users, We trust this newsletter will be a blessing to you as it highlights the latest happenings with Kids 4 Truth’s curriculum and clubs program. Whether you are operating a club, a different type of children’s church program, using the curriculum as homeschool material, or simply curious to learn more about Kids 4 Truth – we are glad to serve you! Most schools are already in session and many of you have placed your fall order. Others are working on registering their children and preparing to place their fall order. With this in mind this newsletter is to update you on our current sale, busy season shipping procedures, new products, new training resources, and a few additional notes that we trust will be helpful to you as you prepare for this fall. Shipping Information – As we approach the fall, many churches will all be placing orders at the same time. The earlier you get your order in, the earlier we can get it to you. Please allow at least 2-3 weeks before your club begins for your order to arrive. The goal of the Kids 4 Truth staff is to ship orders 24-48 hours after the order is placed; however, during the busy fall ordering season, we cannot guarantee this. Orders will be shipped on a first come, first served basis. Please remember: Banners take up to 2 weeks to be shipped, and shirts take up to 4 weeks. New Products Available! Get fuller use out of your banner stand by purchasing an optional second vinyl banner. For example, you might display a “Join Now” banner at the beginning of the curriculum year, and change out to another vinyl banner as you go throughout the year.  Vinyl Window Clings – $2.95/each or purchase two (2) for $4.95 – printed in white on clear vinyl. Point people on the road around you to the Kids 4 Truth website, where they can learn more about God-focused truth. These durable window vinyl decals are available in both outside and inside application. Outside application is good for cars with tinted windows. Indoor application is available for those with clear windows to apply on the inside of the car window.
Training Events We have the following Regional Training Events currently scheduled: - September 5 – 9am-3pm CT: Regional Training Event – Tri-City Ministries in Independence, MO ~ training by Bob Roberts and Marrena Ralph **bonus sessions available
- September 14 – 7-8pm CT: Webinar Training Event – Two-topic event: Effective Small Groups and Record Keeping
- September 19 – 7-9pm CT: Webinar Training Event – Four-topic event: K4T Philosophy/History, Awards, Understanding the K4T TruthBooks, Setting Goals and Expectations.
In addition to our regular Regional Training Events, we are now scheduling Webinars (training events via the internet). Regular training events will be scheduled twice a month with one session lasting approximately 2 hours, meant to cover a number of general training issues. The second event each month will be a specific topical session that lasts approximately 45 minutes. Please be sure to visit the online forums on EquipU (http://equipu.kids4truth.com) to RSVP for events and download training manuals.
