Kids 4 Truth On The Air

Cindy SwansonStu epperson on truth talk liveRecently, I had the opportunity to talk about the ministry of Kids 4 Truth and the philosophy that drives it on the air. Since this blog is primarily about both those things, I am posting two of the radio broadcasts. Admittedly, I have struggled with whether or not to post these broadcasts since it seems like self-promotion to a degree. But it’s not. By God’s grace, it’s “doctrine for kids is really good Deuteronomy 6 and Psalm 78” kind of promotion.

There, conscience appeased.

Show #1 (LISTEN) — Truth Talk Live with Stu Epperson.

Stu’s program is a nationally syndicated, live-call-in broadcast. Stu is fun. Stu is controversial in a mostly good sort of way. Stu also loves Jesus. I have been rebuked by Stu’s “off-air” life in which he demostrates consistent and continual evangelistic fervor and zeal. It is not uncommon for him to abruptly pause a conversation (whether on the phone or face-to-face) to share Christ with some passerby. “Stu” is also a très chic name for a talk show host.

As for the show, I only made one live blunder when I proffered my opinions on A.D.D. It is now forever etched in mp3.

Show #2 (LISTEN) — On-the-Air with Cindy Swanson.

Cindy is one of the kindest, most gracious persons I think I’ve ever met. She is a Rockford-based Christian talk show host and a great interviewer. Thank you, Cindy!

As for the show, it’s a decent, 15–minute, big-picture summary of why Kids 4 Truth exists.
