Dear Friends of Kids 4 Truth,
As I survey the last year of ministry I am thankful for the grace of God. God has been gracious to Kids 4 Truth, and He has been gracious to me. I have seen God’s providing grace. I have tasted God’s sanctifying grace. I have been humbled by God’s protecting grace. I have experienced the grace that grows my faith. I praise God for His enabling grace. If there is anything good that happens through our human efforts, there is but one explanation — and one explanation only: God’s grace.
John 15:5 -- I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 -- Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
So, as I recap 2005, I am quick and careful to acknowledge God’s grace. He is the Reason why we exist, and He is the Sustainer of our life and ministry. Over the last year, God has allowed our ministry to reach the following milestones:
- December 2004 – Tsunami 2004 “Why” Tract
- December 2004 – Established the Kids 4 Truth Foundation
- January 1, 2005 – Official launch of It’s All About God Daily Devotional Site (http://devos.kids4truth.com)
- March 3, 2005 – Launch of Clubs Website (http://clubs.kids4truth.com)
- March 2005 – Churches begin submitting Beta 2 applications
- April 2005 – Level 4 Beta 2 books completed
- May 2005 – Level 3 Beta 2 books completed
- June 2005 – Level 2 Beta 2 books completed
- June 2005 – Launch of new store front (http://store.kids4truth.com)
- July 2005 – Level 1 Beta 2 books completed
- July 2005 – Launch of EquipU Website for teachers (http://equipu.kids4truth.com)
- August 2005 – Churches begin Kids 4 Truth Club using Beta 2 materials
- August & September 2005 – Five regional training meetings conducted
- September 2005 – Katrina 2005 “Why?” Tract
- October 2005 – Over 65 churches have applied and are either using or planning to use the Kids 4 Truth Clubs
- October 2005 – Teacher training DVD released
- October 2005 – Teacher training available online at the EquipU site
- November 7, 2005 – Awarded Passion Award from Servant Christian Community Foundation
- December 2005 – Volume 1 CD of the Kids 4 Truth Songs completed
- December 2005 – www.kids4truth.com website continues to receive about 1.5 million hits per month
Recently, we have received several encouraging notes from people who have been touched by our ministry. Here is a sampling of the feedback we have received about two of our ministry components: the K4T Clubs and the online devotionals. . .
I just want to let you know what a praise it is to have access daily to your website and devotionals. Particularly the devotions. My daughter and I both begin our days with these, and we use them as well for family devotions, they are applicable for adults and children, and the my response area keeps the conversation going the whole day. Just a quick note to say that Kids4Truth has been a tremendous blessing already. I taught God's Law (lesson 1) last week to the second grade (of which my son is a part) and the Lord has used the Lesson to teach me many things and also to discuss them with my son. I listened to Truth Talk Live's [www.truthtalklive.com] broadcast with you several weeks ago. I was on my way to school that evening (I spend that commute with Stu each evening). I couldn't wait to get home to check out your website. Since that day my family have enjoyed wonderful devotional time together using your site's daily devotional as our "launch pad." Our discussions are deep enough to push my wife and I, yet still simple enough that my 4 yr. old daughter and my 10 yr. old son are able to participate.
